About the Embassy
The Embassy of the DRC in Japan — our mission, history, and commitment to serving our citizens abroad.
Serving DRC Citizens in Japan
The Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Tokyo serves as the official diplomatic representative of the DRC Government in Japan. Our primary mission is to protect the rights and interests of Congolese nationals residing in or visiting Japan.
We facilitate the issuance of travel documents, provide consular assistance in emergencies, and promote strong bilateral relations between the DRC and Japan — encompassing trade, investment, cultural exchange, and development cooperation.
The Embassy also serves as a gateway for Japanese citizens and businesses seeking to engage with the DRC, offering visa services and investment information.
