Types of Visa

Tourism, business, student, filming, and diplomatic visas are available. All visa applications must be submitted in person at the Embassy.

* Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment is accepted at the Embassy counter or online via the application portal.

Every applicant needs an original passport valid for more than 6 months, a colour passport copy, a passport-size colour photo (4.5×3.5cm), and a copy of a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Express processing takes 3 to 5 business days; standard processing takes 10 business days after complete documentation and payment are received.
Any visa request, whether accepted or refused, is neither refundable nor transferable. Applicants refused once may not reapply for 6 months.
Visa validity is limited to a maximum of six months from the Embassy; longer stays require processing in-country. Approvals are determined by the National Provisional Visa Granting Commission in Kinshasa.
