Tourism, business, student, filming, and diplomatic visas are available. All visa applications must be submitted in person at the Embassy.
Tourist Visa
30 days, single entryFor tourism, visiting friends or family, or recreational travel to the DRC.

* Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment is accepted at the Embassy counter or online via the application portal.
Processing time
Standard visas: 10 working days, from the moment all documents are received and payment is made. Diplomatic and official visas: 3 to 5 working days. An express procedure (maximum 5 working days) is available for a ¥15,000 surcharge.

Visa fees are paid in cash at the Embassy.

Important Information
- Every applicant needs an original passport valid for more than 6 months, a colour passport copy, a passport-size colour photo (4.5×3.5cm), and a copy of a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate.
- Express processing takes 3 to 5 business days; standard processing takes 10 business days after complete documentation and payment are received.
- Any visa request, whether accepted or refused, is neither refundable nor transferable. Applicants refused once may not reapply for 6 months.
- Visa validity is limited to a maximum of six months from the Embassy; longer stays require processing in-country. Approvals are determined by the National Provisional Visa Granting Commission in Kinshasa.
